LaVonne A. Straub Award

Illinois Institute for Rural Affairs has joined with the Illinois Rural Health Association IRHA) to fund the LaVonne A. Straub Student Research Award.   Applications are open to undergraduate and graduate students engaging in research to improve rural health care in Illinois.   Recipients will receive a stipend of $1,000 to defray the costs of conducting research.   Recipients may also have an opportunity to publish the findings and will present at IRHA’s annual conference in mid-April.
