Membership Benefits

• Be a voice in advocating for state and federal health policies and funding programs that affect the quality of life and the economic vitality of rural Illinois.

• Receive Highlights, the IRHA electronic newsletter, that includes information about the Association’s activities, useful Web sites, grant announcements and much more.
   
• Affiliate Membership in National Rural Health Association (NRHA) that includes introductory subscription to Rural Roads and NRHA’s Action and Media Alerts.

Membership Categories

          The Illinois Rural Health Association offers three categories of membership:

Individual   ($50.00)

Any eligible individual not holding membership in another category.

Organizational ($200.00)

Any legally constituted organization with four or more members. An organizational member is entitled to identify up to four persons as part of their membership. The organization shall annually submit to IRHA the names of the four organizational members who are eligible to vote on matters submitted to the membership. Four members from the organization may attend the Annual Conference at the membership rate.

          Student  ($15.00)

Persons who are enrolled full time in an educational institution.

Membership dues to the IRHA are not tax deductible as a charitable contribution for income tax purposes. However, they may be deductible as ordinary and necessary business expenses.
