Welcome to the First organized in 1989, the Illinois Rural Health Association (IRHA) is a collaborative association comprised of hospitals, Federally Qualified Health Centers, Rural Health Clinics, public health departments, individual clinicians, educational institutions, students and elected officials, whose mission is to strengthen health systems for rural residents and communities through advocacy, education, networking and leadership. The MAP Framework offers a pathway toward changing that by focusing on helping healthcare organizations Measure BP accurately, Act rapidly to initiate treatment, and Partner with patients and their communities through initiatives like Self Measured Blood Pressure Programs.
